A View of the Tennis Court

Three Chimneys Farm is located in the heart of the Kentish Weald, ten miles southeast of Royal Tunbridge. Within a ten mile radius there is plenty to interest a country visitor. The nearest shops are at Goudhurst, a charming old Kent village with church, inns, tea shops and restaurants. There are golf courses at Ticehurst, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook and Tunbridge Wells, to name but a few. Riding is available close by at the Bedgebury Riding Centre. Also close by is the Bedgebury Pinetum, with ornamental lake, forest nature trails and over 100 species of coniferous tree. A footpath running from Three Chimneys gives direct access to Bedgebury Forest, with several miles of footpaths, bridlepaths and cycle routes. Bewl Water reservoir has fly fishing and boat trips. Within thirty minutes drive Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle, Ightam Moat, Batemans, and many more castles and gardens. This idyllic setting is only a one hour drive from London and less than forty minutes from the sea.

The Farm

Animals at Three Chimneys Farm.

Three Chimneys Farm was a traditional Kent hop farm, dating from the 16th Century. Hop farming ceased in the 1970s, and the oast houses, originally used for drying the hops, and other outbuildings have been converted to housing. Three Chimneys is still a working farm, with many sheep and cattle grazing in the fields.
